I’d like to hear you laugh ( to record and replay your joy whenever I need a dose.)
I’d like to tell you I love you (and I feel honored to have your eyes.)
I’m happy for our summers on Virginia Ave. I’m happy for all the back rubs that put us to sleep.
I’m happy you are with everyone you learned to live without now.
I’m happy because I know you hated when any of us cried.

Will you kill me?
I’d let you eat alive.
Cat, who is ready for a mouse.
BUt WHat If..?

Imagine with me,
complete comfort, complete support, complete admiration,
equally.
It’s not hard to imagine, it’s possible, I’ve felt it.
But what if this is it?
But what if it’s right in front of me and I’m not reaching for it?
But what if it’s not what I really want?
How am I supposed to know?
But what if, right now, I don’t really care to know. But what if, being this content is currently all I truly need or want?
